Job Summary
Make a Real Impact as a GCSE Maths and English Tutor.
Are you a passionate educator making a difference in the lives of students Do you have experience working with students with Special Educational Needs We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors. Youll provide personalised 1:1 support in GCSE Maths and English. These in-person sessions in Enfield offer the chance to work closely with students helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.
- This job is in person in the Enfield area.
- Hours: 2 hours per week (with potential to increase)
- Day(s): Tuesday - Thursday
- Time(s): during school hours
- Subject and Level: GCSE Maths or English
- Start date: Immediate start
- Rate of pay: 30ph
What Youll Do
- Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals needs and study level
- Plan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of the student
- Provide targeted support for students with SEN
- Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Monitor progress produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomes
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks youre providing subject tuition in
- Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager
Requirements
Were looking for someone who has:
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Specialist SEN training
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Experience working withs students with cognitive learning difficulties
- 3 years of tutoring / teaching experience
- An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The right to be self employed in the UK
