Job Summary

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Port Security Officer to join our dedicated team responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our port facility under the Maritime Security Act and the ISPS Code.
In this role youll play a key part in protecting our operations assets and people. Youll conduct regular patrols manage secure area access respond to alarms and incidents support compliance procedures operate security systems and provide excellent customer service to port users. This is a full-time position on a 24/7 rotating roster.
To succeed youll need a good level of physical fitness as duties include climbing in and out of vehicles manual handling operating equipment and working in all weather conditions. If youre adaptable safety-focused and ready to contribute to a critical part of our operations wed love to hear from you.
To be successful in this role youll need:
- Good physical fitness and commitment to health and safety.
- Ability to work rotating day/night shifts and adapt to change.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- A full clean Class 1 licence and confidence using computers (CCTV experience a plus).
- Previous security experience (desirable but not essential).
