In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Technical Compliance for new Enquiries

  • Technical Engineering: Responsible for study the customer specs for painting feasibility studies at the offer stage perform technical reviews and finalize Paint Work Instructions (WID) on firm orders.

Production Management and Operations

  • Production Planning: Monitor daily production plans resolve day-to-day shop floor issues and ensure production targets are achieved efficiently.

  • Resource Management: Handle manpower planning to maximize efficiency and manage paint procurement contract handling and billing processes.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues promptly and reduce overall lead time in painting process.

Quality Management System

  • QMS Implementation: Responsible and accountable for the maintenance of the Quality Management System ensuring compliance with respect to various industrial certifications and customer compliances.

  • Inspection and Validation: Responsible to carry out the painting processes including its validation for various products including customer requirements creates records submit it to engineering to ensure compliances.

  • Audits & Improvements: Conduct periodic product audits analyse reports and implement corrective preventive actions for product failures with senior assistance. Actively work to reduce customer complaints regarding painting quality and documentation requirements.

Leadership & Development

  • Team Training: Develop training documents standard procedures and production guidelines. Train team members to perform to their full potential enabling independent and effective work.

  • Design Feedback: Provide technical feedback to the Design Department for both new product developments and existing product improvements.

Safety (HSE)

  • Best Practices: Implement best safety practices on the shop floor to achieve a target of ZERO recordable accidents and continuous reduction in first-aid cases.

Who You Are:

You are a meticulous planner skilled at aligning production schedules with material availability and manufacturing capacity. With acute attention to detail you coordinate assembly plans on a monthly and weekly basis ensuring smooth operations across departments. Analyzing performance metrics you proactively adjust plans to maintain efficiency and meet customer demands. Your expertise in ERP systems ensures the integrity of production data fostering a culture of reliability and consistency.

For This Role You Will Need:

Technical Knowledge & Standards

  • Minimum 5 to 6 years of experience in Production Painting within a manufacturing environment preferably in valve manufacturing or a similar type of industry.

  • Systems Awareness: Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 API Q1 (Quality Management Systems) and PED 2014/68/EU.

  • Painting Expertise: In-depth knowledge of paint technical processes special processes and NDT/Painting instrumentation.

  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with Valve manufacturing specifically BFV (Butterfly Valves) TOV (Triple Offset Valves) KGV (Knife Gate Valves) BLV (Ball Valves) and Actuators.

  • Industry Standards: Proficiency in ISO NACE and ASTM painting and testing standards.

  • Leadership: Strong team building motivation and manpower handling capabilities.

  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills with a positive professional approach.

  • Operational Skills: Crisis management work planning time management and analytical problem-solving.

  • IT Proficiency: Operating knowledge of MS Office and Internet tools.

  • Nace level qualification certification preferable.

Skills & Competencies

Preferred Qualificationsthat Set You Apart:

  • Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering Painting / coating Engineering or a related field.

  • Process Authority: Advanced knowledge of Painting as a Special Process within a manufacturing environment.

  • QMS Expertise: Demonstrated experience in auditing or managing Quality Management System standards.
