Our team builds foundational core services that power Business-to-Business (B2B) commerce transactions on Amazon. We are looking for a Manager of Software Development for Invoice By Amazon (IBA) product. IBA provides a single supplier invoice product as the default experience for all Amazon Business (AB) customers in Europe and India with upcoming expansion in JP and MX. As more and more customers adopt the IBA experience we face increasingly complex architectural challenges. We are currently directing our efforts towards scaling our systems and reducing parity gaps in order to provide a seamless experience for all our customers.

We are seeking a creative demonstrated leader with superior analytical abilities who can can thrive in a fast-paced high-energy and fun work environment. This opportunity requires excellent technical problem-solving and communication skills. We are looking for individuals who know how to deliver results and show a desire to develop themselves their colleagues and their career.

The role is based in Madrid and will require some international travel.

- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing certification and livesite operations
- Experience in leading the definition and development of multi tier web services
- Experience managing engineers
- Experience partnering with product and program management teams
- Experience in engineering

- Experience in communicating with users other technical teams and senior leadership to collect requirements describe software product features technical designs and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting hiring mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective product software engineers
