We are looking for a business student to join our Procurement Operations team for a 12 - 16-month placement.
Reporting directly to the Procurement Supervisor the ProcurementOperations Co-opwillensure internal customers are receiving the products and services as per the agreements andensurethe procurement services are delivered as per all internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Who you are:
Mustbe enrolled in aco-op (or internship) program at a recognized Canadian university.
Enrolledin a Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation or Business degree
Excellent interpersonalorganizationskills and written & verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to deliverappropriate customerservice work independently and in a team asrequired
Ability to perform under time pressures and in a fast-paced work environment whenrequired
Ability to multi-taskprioritizeand respondin a timely mannerto changing environments.
Oracle experience would be an asset

What you will do:
Issuing and approving purchase ordersin accordance withATCO policy to ensure ethicality legality and completeness and thatappropriate termsand conditions are in place mitigating risk to ATCO.
Reviewing goods and services requests with internal customers andprovidesprocurement services including obtaining price and delivery information.
Review open PO reports and follow process to close commitments
Weekly and month end reporting asrequired
Expediting goods and services asrequired
Measures supplier performance against key performance indicators andidentifyopportunities for improvement.
Communicates efficiently to resolve issues with all internal and external clients.
Engaging with internal customers to ensure understanding and shared complianceofATCO Procurement policies.
Working collaboratively with the Procurement Specialists to identify competitive goods suppliers and other cost savings opportunities.
Additionaltasks as assigned toassistProcurement Specialists and Office Administrative Coordinators
Other duties as assigned.
