Abound Health is looking for compassionate reliable caregivers who want part-time meaningful work supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in their homes and communities.
Many of our clients only need 412 hours per week and for them those few hours can change everything. If youre looking for flexible rewarding work that fits into your life we would love to meet you.
Where We Need Caregivers
We have immediate openings for part-time support in:
- Scranton PA
- Dickson City PA
- Newfoundland PA
- Covington Township PA
- Jermyn PA
Each clients needs are different and we work hard to match you with someone whose schedule and support needs fit your availability and comfort level.
What Youll Do
Your support helps individuals live fuller safer more connected lives. Responsibilities may include:
- Encouraging social behavioral and vocational skill development
- Supporting participation in community and recreational activities
- Providing companionship and respite for families
- Following treatment plans and documenting progress
- Assisting with daily living skills as needed
- Working independently in the clients home or community
- Completing required training and ongoing development
This role is ideal for caregivers who want to make a meaningful impact without committing to full-time hours.
What Were Looking For
- A genuine passion for supporting individuals with I/DD
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license auto insurance and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background checks
- Willingness to assist with personal care if needed
- CPR/First Aid certification (training provided)
- 1 year of caregiving experience preferred but not required
Pay
$15$20/hr
Hours vary by client (typically 410 hours per week)

$1000 Signing Bonus Details
- $333 after 90 days (20 hrs/week average)
- $333 after 6 months (20 hrs/week average)
- $334 after 1 year (20 hrs/week average)
Not available for Residential Services or Relative as Provider (RAP) hires.
Applicants must not have worked for Abound Health or its affiliates in the past 18 months.
