Role Purpose:

The Senior Executive Freelancer Recruitment plays a critical role in identifying engaging and onboarding high-calibre freelancers to support the organisations operational and project requirements. This role combines strategic insight with hands-on execution ensuring the attraction of top-tier talent while maintaining strong alignment with organisational objectives quality standards and compliance requirements.

Main Accountabilities:

The British Council is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Examiner Freelance Recruitment to manage the end-to-end recruitment of freelance examiners in alignment with the organisations operational and project requirements. This in-office role in Noida requires a combination of strategic thinking hands-on execution and strong operational discipline to attract engage and onboard top-tier freelance professionals.

The role is responsible for managing the candidates pool and talent database ensuring candidates are sourced screened and engaged effectively in accordance with defined recruitment processes. This includes building strong pipelines through targeted database searches direct sourcing via job boards and social media and maintaining relationships with prospective candidates to keep them engaged throughout the recruitment lifecycle. The position also involves preparing and posting job adverts supporting stakeholders across the recruitment cycle from sourcing and assessment to hiring and completing onboarding formalities such as preparing contracts and initiating background verification.

In addition to recruitment responsibilities the Senior Examiner will coordinate operational requirements for training arrange assessments and certifications and follow up with participants to ensure training effectiveness. Accurate and timely preparation of management dashboards MIS reports and analytical recruitment reports is essential along with maintaining recruitment records in accordance with established policies and procedures. Weekly and monthly updates on hiring progress are provided to management to facilitate informed decision-making.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Outlook and able to adapt quickly to different IT systems. Strong communication skills knowledge of recruitment best practices and the ability to plan prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously are essential. A proactive approach with a focus on problem-solving data management and operational efficiency is critical for success in this role. The Senior Examiner will work closely with Delivery Managers Heads of Delivery Process Managers regional teams and senior management within the English and Exams divisions ensuring compliance with all British Council management systems policies and contributing to high-quality service delivery.

  • Graduate
  • Min. 2 years of experience in managing recruitment
  • Experience of implementing attraction activities that promote diversity in hiring
