Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a seasoned Senior Pega Engineer with expertise in Case Management to lead the design development and support of enterprise-grade case lifecycle this role you will deliver robust scalable and compliant workflows supporting large-scale operations within highly regulated environments. Your contributions will ensure efficient case processing security and adherence to governance standards contributing to organizational operational excellence.


Software Requirements

Required:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Pega Case Management including case types stages steps SLAs and approvals (7 years)

  • Strong knowledge of Pega Case Life Cycle Work Queues Flow Actions and UI Rules

  • Proven experience designing and implementing end-to-end case solutions in BFSI or large enterprise environments

  • Pega certification (CSA CSSA or LSA) highly preferred

  • Familiarity with Pega best practices for performance reusability and maintainability

  • Solid understanding of security audit and governance standards within Pega applications


Preferred:

  • Experience integrating Pega with external systems and enterprise APIs

  • Exposure to cloud deployment of Pega solutions (Azure AWS)


Overall Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of case lifecycle workflows including case types processes and UI rules

  • Collaborate with business architecture and security teams to translate requirements into scalable Pega solutions

  • Ensure solutions adhere to security compliance and regulatory standards (e.g. BFSI regulatory requirements)

  • Conduct design reviews code reviews and mentor junior team members to promote best practices

  • Support production incidents by troubleshooting root cause analysis and implementing issue resolution

  • Optimize case processes for efficiency and performance

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance case management solutions

  • Develop technical documentation including process flows configurations and governance controls

  • Support Pega platform upgrades integration and migration projects


Technical Skills (By Category)

Programming & Rules (Essential):

  • Pega Rule Process Commander (PRPC) Case Type design Flow Stage SLA UI rules (7 years)

  • Java / J2EE (preferred for integrations)


Frameworks & Libraries:

  • Pega BPM components UI rules Decision rules and security policies


Databases & Data Management:

  • Knowledge of relational data models supporting case data (Oracle SQL Server)

  • External API and system integration knowledge for data exchange


Security & Governance:

  • Implementing security access control audit logs and compliance procedures in Pega


Cloud & Deployment:

  • Experience with cloud deployment (Azure AWS: preferred)

  • Knowledge of Pega deployment strategies in cloud environments


Experience Requirements

  • 7 years of direct experience in Pega Case Management development configuration and support

  • Proven track record in large enterprise or BFSI environments supporting complex case workflows

  • Experience leading technical design and delivering scalable case management systems

  • Knowledge of industry regulations and security standards in regulated environments (preferred)

  • Demonstrated experience in project delivery process automation and stakeholder communication


Day-to-Day Activities

  • Design develop and optimize case lifecycle workflows supporting enterprise operations

  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to formulate solution requirements

  • Conduct design reviews enforce best practices and mentor junior engineers

  • Troubleshoot system issues perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

  • Support platform upgrades and migration projects for system scalability and compliance

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation of case processes configurations and standards

  • Monitor case system performance security and compliance proactively resolving issues

  • Participate in project planning sprint ceremonies and continuous process improvement discussions


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or relevant field

  • 7 years of Pega development experience especially in case management and workflow design

  • Relevant Pega certifications (CSA CSSA LSA) preferred

  • Industry experience in BFSI insurance or large enterprise environments supporting complex case workflows

  • Proven ability to adhere to security and compliance standards in regulated industries
