Job summary
We are looking for an experienced developer to work with the Denodo platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining data virtualization solutions improving data accessibility for end-users and collaborating with IT and business teams to maximize data impact.
Required competencies/experience:
- Denodo:Minimum of 5 years of experience in development with the Denodo platform.
- Data Management:Skills in data integration metadata management and data virtualization.
- Databases: Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Performance and Optimization: Ability to analyze and optimize data solution performance.
- Script Development: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java.
- API Management: Experience in developing and managing APIs for data integration and accessibility.
- Working Language:English to facilitate effective communication with our delivery managers in Romania.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence tools.
- Knowledge of ETL tools: Familiarity with ETL tools like Talend.
- Business Intelligence Skills:Experience with BI tools like Power BI.
- Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of generative AI particularly using assistants like GitHub Copilot.
Behavioral skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a Scrum collaborative environment.
- Autonomy in managing daily tasks and proactivity in identifying and addressing issues.
- Client-oriented attitude with a sense of responsibility.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
