TOWN OF BONNYVILLE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: CASUAL LABOURER - PARKS/FLOWER MAINTENANCE

Please Note: This position is supported by the Canada Summer Jobs grant program. To meet the funding eligibility requirements applicants must be between the ages of 15 and 30 at the start of employment. We warmly welcome applications from all qualified youth.

Do you want to make a difference in the Town of Bonnyville The Town of Bonnyville is seeking applicants who enjoys working outdoors work well independently and have a passion for flowers and horticulture.

Work Hours: Monday Friday 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Minimum Requirement: Valid Class 5 Drivers License

Duties and Responsibilities:

Applicant must be willing to work alone most of the time.
Responsible for Town beautification including watering pruning and weeding Main Street and Town owned flower beds/hanging baskets.
Maintaining watering truck pump and tank.
Assist in Town Programs such as Canada Day Tourism and events.
Work as a team member with the public works crew and performing other related public works and parks duties.
Adhere to all safety procedures.
Performs other related duties as required.

The Town of Bonnyville employment policy requires successful applicants to complete a pre-employment alcohol and Drug Testing.
This position is from May 2026 to September 2026 (Start and end dates will be finalized closer to as determined by environmental factors)
