Labourer

AIM is currently seeking a Temporary General Laborer Summer Season for its Victoriaville site. This position is offered for the summer season with a work schedule from Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Under the supervision of the Site Manager the General Laborer will be responsible for sorting various types of metals using manual or automated processes.

Responsibilities :

• Sort different types of metals based on their characteristics;
• Prepare materials to meet quality standards (e.g. aluminum cutting);
• Operate various types of equipment and machinery (e.g. forklift);
• Ensure the work areas remain clean and safe at all times;
• Assist with loading and unloading customer vehicles;
• Identify and assign the correct type of metal to materials brought in by customers;
• Participate in shipping activities;
• Assist with torch cutting as needed;
• Provide excellent customer service;
• Perform any other related duties;
