Role Detail

As a key member of KWMs renowned Corporate Hospitality team youll work closely with our Head Chef and team members to deliver outstanding food experiences across our internal café boardrooms and corporate events.

This is a 12month fixed term contract offering full-time hours (MondayFriday 7:30am3:30pm).

You will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and salads that meet our standards for taste freshness presentation and nutrition. You will also help maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure safe food handling practices throughout your shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily café operations including receiving deliveries
  • Maintain safe and hygienic work practices at all times
  • Prepare a variety of fresh sandwiches salads and light lunches daily
  • Assist with stock ordering and ingredient preparation
  • Perform basic food preparation as required
  • Wash dishes utensils pots and kitchenware
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and appliances
  • Keep all working areas clean tidy and organised
  • Check unpack and store incoming stock deliveries
  • Follow correct stock rotation and storage procedures
  • Assist the Head Chef Sous Chefs and broader kitchen team with additional tasks as needed

About You

Youll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Previous sandwich or light food preparation experience (preferred)
  • Basic knife skills and safe food handling knowledge
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced high-demand environment
  • Experience performing routine processdriven tasks
  • Strong attention to detail especially in presentation
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
  • A collaborative teamoriented approach
  • Professionalism courtesy and a positive attitude
  • Completed food safety training
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
