Job Summary

This is a full-time position for the 2026-2027 school year.

Key Instructor Requirements (Illinois) License: Current active and unencumbered IL Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. Long-Term Care Experience: At least 1 year of experience in providing long-term care facility services or in some cases geriatrics. Training: Successful completion of a Department-approved Train the Trainer course and Approved Evaluator workshop. Note: RNs with a BSN or higher are exempt from the formal evaluator workshop but still require approval. Background: No record of abuse neglect or misappropriated property. Approval: Must receive official approval from the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) before teaching.
