A Brief Overview:
The Research Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting and contributing to research initiatives within endocrinology. This position provides an opportunity to be involved in cutting-edge medical research projects that can have a profound impact on patient care and healthcare advancements.
What you will do:
- Perform all required duties for recruiting enrolling and following patients on clinical trials
- Review and abstract patient data through EPIC
- Collaborate with principal investigators and research teams to assist in the planning design and execution of research studies.
- Prepare and maintain equipment ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness and assist with the procurement of research supplies and materials.
- Conduct literature reviews and assist in the development of research protocols grant applications and research publications.
- Prepare research materials including laboratory reagents tissue/blood samples and specimens and ensure proper documentation processing storage and shipment.
- Perform data entry quality control and assist and communicate effectively with Data Analytics.
- Maintain accurate and organized research records including electronic and paper files and ensure data confidentiality and security.
- Participate in research team meetings contribute to discussions and stay informed about advancements in the field.
- Complete all required training
What you will need:
- Education: Bachelors Degree in related field
- Experience: Previous experience in a research role preferably at a University or Industry research lab/healthcare /hospital setting is preferred.
