General Summary of Position:
The Department of Environmental Earth and Atmospheric Sciences (EEAS) at the University of Massachusetts Lowell invites applications for a full-time non-tenure-track Visiting Lecturer. This position focuses primarily on teaching undergraduate courses for non-science majors in environmental science and Earth system science. The position is renewable annually potentially leading to an appointment of Assistant Teaching Professor following three consecutive years of excellent performance evaluations.
The successful candidate will be a dedicated educator committed to inclusive student-centered teaching and active participation in departmental and university service.

About the Department of Environmental Earth and Atmospheric Sciences
The Department of Environmental Earth and Atmospheric Sciences (EEAS) part of the Kennedy College of Sciences focuses on understanding and solving Earth system and environmental challenges through interdisciplinary education research and community engagement. Key research areas within EEAS are focused on climate and climate change research weather forecasting and extreme events state-of-the-art laboratory and field methods in geochemistry and pollution and assessment of Earth system changes across geologic to modern timescales. The department is committed to excellence in teaching research and service with an emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration and student success.

This is a full-time benefited non-union position. For non-union visiting position anticipated salary is minimum of $65000 with maximum up to $100000 /year based on qualifications and visiting rank.
