Position Overview

We are seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to manage and support environmental compliance programs within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to federal state and local regulations conducting inspections and driving corrective actions to maintain compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor environmental compliance including permits licenses applications and records
Conduct facility inspections track audit schedules and ensure timely follow-up on corrective actions
Identify compliance issues and develop effective corrective action plans
Maintain and update the Intellex Program including monthly reporting
Act as a technical resource to resolve issues related to production quality and compliance
Perform compliance audits and determine appropriate corrective measures
Provide technical support and compliance training to internal teams
Ensure implementation and adherence to environmental policies and procedures
Support environmental projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Environmental Science or a related field
5 7 years of experience in environmental compliance or related field
Strong knowledge of 40 CFR regulations
Wastewater license required
Familiarity with federal state and local environmental regulations

Preferred Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience with compliance systems (e.g. Intellex or similar platforms)
Ability to manage audits and regulatory inspections
Excellent communication and training skills
