Job Description:Provide support to classroom teachers develop and implement curriculum and instructional programs and other activities to increase student achievement. The facilitator organizes and implements curriculum and instructional programs and materials. The facilitator is responsible for assisting in developing the curriculum and assessment opportunities research-based instructional methods aligning materials and resources to the curriculum and other teacher leadership responsibilities. Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain professional behavior appearance and work ethic to always represent the school district in a positive with the district curriculum and/or provide professional development for with the development and alignment of the literacy best practices in literacy or math in classrooms with teachers and on-site professional development activities in literacy or follow-up conferences with teachers to clarify and discuss strategies modeled or as coach and mentor to teachers learning new knowledge of current research and best practices in literacy or math and share this information with teachers in monitoring the progress of teachers in planning instruction based on literacy or math data within the teachers in developing appropriate support and education to parents in the area of literacy or principal in the assessment of the effectiveness of the school-based literacy or math with the District Literacy Specialist in designing CFAs and formative assessments for the purposes of informing instruction. Choose appropriate instructional technology into other related duties as required or assigned. Qualifications:Valid Arkansas Teaching Certificate; Bachelors Degree; Masters Degree preferred; 3 years experience; training in literacy beyond that required for certification preferred. Be a K-2 RISE trainer and have experience with 95% and CKLA programs. Demonstrated understanding of following curriculums with fidelity and purpose.
