Job Summary

We are looking for aspiring and suitably qualified individuals to join our Capital Works Business Unit (CWBU) where we work with our stakeholders to create sustainable transport solutions for the community and we care for our staff and provide a great place to work.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in project management and contractor supervision for the implementation of signalling and communications related operational construction contracts
  • Manage contractors and programme schedule as well as review contractors submissions
  • Supervise testing and commissioning activities carry out site inspections handle day-to-day contract administration maintain site records and necessary liaison works with various parties as well as all interfaces with internal and external parties of relevant disciplines to ensure successful delivery of works within budget and on time in compliance with safety and quality requirements
  • Review contractors submissions supervise testing and commissioning activities maintain site safety and quality records

Requirements

  • Degree in Transportation / Computing / Control / Telecommunications / Electrical / Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 4 years relevant experience in railway construction and project management
  • Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution is preferred
  • Experience in operating railway projects and knowledge of multi-disciplinary railway systems are advantageous

Remarks

  • Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Construction Support Engineer position
