Plan lead and facilitate strategic planning workshops visioning sessions and prioritisation forums across Motor Claims

The Strategy Manager shapes maintains and operationalises the strategic direction for Motor Claims working closely with the Motor Claims Leadership Team (MCCLT). This role integrates customer people technology and operational insights into a clear actionable and coherent strategy that advances the Consumer Insurance and MCC ambition.
The role acts as the strategic connector between insights planning leadership priorities enterprise initiatives and operational execution. It ensures the Motor Claims strategy is robust datainformed well socialised defensible aligned with Group ambition and translated into executable roadmaps.
The Strategy Manager also leads the creation of strategic papers (ELT Board Board Committees) facilitates strategic planning rhythms and ensures that enterprise and external developments (industry competitive regulatory customer trends) are continuously assessed and translated into strategic recommendations.
What Youll Do:
Design and maintain the overarching Motor Claims strategy ensuring alignment to customer operational technology and people objectives
Integrate enterprise Insurance and Group strategy inputs to ensure a coherent connected strategic narrative for Motor Claims
Continuously monitor insurance customer regulatory and technology trends synthesising insights into implications risks and recommendations for Motor Claims
Conduct structured market competitor and innovation scanning to identify emerging opportunities or threats
Distil ambiguous trends into clear what this means insights for senior leaders
Develop highquality strategic papers and presentations for ELT Board and enterprise forums.
What Youll Bring:
Minimum 10 years in insurance claims and/or financial services experience including minimum 3 years exposure to Motor Claims
Experience working with executive (incl. SLG) stakeholders
Ability to conceive structure and articulate endtoend strategic systems that connect vision priorities delivery pathways and measures while anticipating interdependencies inherent within a large enterprise
Ability to distil complex ambiguous or incomplete information into clear insights patterns and implications that inform strategic direction and support confident decisionmaking by senior leaders
Ability to translate complex concepts into clear compelling narratives tailored to executive and Board audiences enabling understanding alignment and decisive action.
