DescriptionThe Latin America Sales Director is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing sales organization to drive orders growth expand market share strengthen customer relationships and find new customers through growth programs and project pursuit. This role is the commercial leader covering sales force management channel strategy demand creation and account development while ensuring disciplined execution of our growth strategy. The Sales Director plays a critical leadership role in change management annual planning and aligns sales execution with broader business objectives. This role has a strong emphasis on the North of Latin America region (primarily Mexico) with managing responsibility for the South of Latin America geography (primarily Brazil).
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Sales Force Leadership & Management
- Lead coach and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed revenue margin and growth targets.
- Establish clear performance expectations KPIs and accountability across the sales organization.
- Drive a strong performance culture through regular reviews field engagement and talent development.
- Manage hiring onboarding training and succession planning for the sales team.
Sales Strategy Development
- Translate corporate and commercial strategy into clear executable sales plans.
- Ensure consistent deployment of sales processes and tools across the organization.
- Track the effectiveness of the sales strategy through programs PowerBI reporting utilization and regular follow up with the teams
- Align sales priorities with product marketing operations and finance teams.
- Drive a combination of base/core business growth and pursue white space opportunities
Demand Creation & Project Pursuit
- Drive proactive demand generation initiatives in collaboration with marketing and product teams.
- Lead disciplined project pursuit from early-stage identification through closing.
- Ensure effective qualification pipeline management and forecasting accuracy.
- Capture project pursuit synergies through broader Final Control and Global Sales / Latin America Sales collaboration with Emerson.
Annual Planning & Performance Management
- Lead the annual sales planning process including orders targets resource allocation and territory/channel design.
- Own sales forecasting budgeting inputs and performance tracking throughout the year.
- Drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making.
- Change Management & Organizational Leadership
Change Management & Organizational Leadership
- Lead change initiatives related to sales structure processes systems and go-to-market models.
- Communicate clearly and consistently to ensure alignment engagement and adoption across the sales organization.
- Serve as a role model for leadership collaboration and customer-centric behavior.

- Demonstrated ability to lead change deploy strategy and drive sustainable growth.
- Experience of leading a team in Latin America.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required with the ability to conduct business discussions negotiate effectively and build strong relationships.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Fluency in Portuguese is preferred
