Mills Auto Group is seeking a highly motivated Used Car Acquisition Manager to join our team in Pineville NC. This role is critical in sourcing quality used vehicles that meet our inventory needs and align with the companys goals. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for market trends strong negotiation skills and a passion for the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire quality used vehicles from various sources including auctions trade-ins and private sellers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with sellers dealers and wholesalers to secure the best pricing and inventory.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles meet company standards.
- Analyze market trends and competitor inventories to make informed acquisition decisions.
- Collaborate with sales and reconditioning teams to optimize inventory turnover and profitability.
- Manage budgets and maintain accurate records of all acquisitions and related transactions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in used car acquisition automotive sales or related field.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent knowledge of the used car market and vehicle appraisal techniques.
- Ability to analyze market data and inventory performance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
