Job Summary
A growing firm looking to add a Roadway Project Manager to their team!
Responsibilities:
- Manage roadway/highway design projects from start to finish (geometric design drainage coordination maintenance of traffic and traffic control plans)
- Prepare project scopes budgets and schedules
- Monitor progress of multiple projects manage risks and implement corrective actions
- Lead internal multidisciplinary teams
- Serve as primary client contact for INDOT districts and local agencies
- Coordinate projects with utility companies permitting agencies and other stakeholders
- Develop proposals scopes and fee estimates for new pursuits
- Oversee QA/QC processes
- Ensure project documentation is complete and accurate (calculations meeting minutes and deliverables)
- Mentor/train junior staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science or degree in Civil Engineering
- Masters degree preferred
- 8 years of experience working on INDOT and Indiana LPAs transportation projects
- Indiana Professional Engineer license
- Demonstrated knowledge of INDOT standards procedures and project delivery process
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to maintain budget schedule and quality objectives
- Proficient with roadway design tools such as MicroStation/OpenRoads or similar CAD platforms and Microsoft Office for project documentation and reporting
Salary is commensurate with experience.
