Overview
The Supervisor of Revenue Cycle Management plays a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the financial performance operational deployment and evaluation of all revenue cycle activities within their designated service line(s).
This role requires a strong leader who can implement systems policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and drive revenue recognition results for ATI Physical Therapy.
In addition to overseeing day-to-day activities the Supervisor will be responsible for mentoring and managing Senior RCM and RCM Specialists serving as the primary liaison for offshore vendor partners and using data analytics to identify trends and develop action plans.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison for offshore vendor partners maintaining daily/weekly communication and holding production and quality meetings. Provide reporting challenge assumptions and ensure vendor partners meet performance and quality expectations.
Lead with data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement efforts to ensure the highest level of financial performance. Creates / extracts data from various RCM analytical tools to identify trends and creates action plans to improve KPI metrics
Facilitates the summarization of audit data to identify process improvement opportunities and creating Service Level Agreement (SLA) reporting within their service line(s)
Ensure all revenue cycle activities adhere to legal and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g. SOX compliance Government & Commercial Payor guidelines and internal ATI policies).
Responsible for implementing & enforcing all RCM policies and standard operating procedures to improve efficiencies
Participates in RCM monthly leadership meeting(s) and meets regularly with RCM supervisors from other service lines to ensure continuity of the claim process
Drives team engagement by creating an atmosphere of respect through consistent open and honest communication. Builds camaraderie within their service line(s) and displays the ATI Way in their behavior
Develops and improves operational training programs including but not limited to onboarding new staff retraining existing staff prepping for system upgrades and escalating staff issues

Qualifications
Measurable Scope and Accountability
The RCM Supervisor will need understanding of all revenue cycle processes but will be assigned to one or more service lines within one of the following focused areas:
Financial Clearance (FC) Central Business Office (CBO) Commercial/Govt/SP AR Follow-up or WC/API AR Follow-up.
The Service Lines within each functional area are:
FC 1 Service line Authorizations/Insurance Verification/Queue Management Team
CBO 2 Service lines Payment Posting/Credits Billing/Documentation
Govt/Comm/SP 2 Service lines Comm/BCBS Govt/Self Pay
WCAPI 1 Service line Work Comp/Auto/Personal Injury (Litigated & Non-Litigated)
Minimum Education Required:
High School Diploma GED or suitable equivalent
Preferred:
Associate / bachelors degree
Minimum Experience Required:
5 years of healthcare revenue cycle experience
3 years of Offshore revenue cycle vendor experience
1 years of experience in RCM service line assigned
Preferred:
Previous team lead or supervisor experience
Data analyst experience
Physical Therapy RCM experience
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of data with the patient account.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Maintain open consistent and positive communication with other Revenue Cycle departments payor clinics and vendor partners.
Must have excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and coordinate workload with high degree of proficiency and accuracy.
Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
