Instructor of Clinical Practice

Job Summary:

Clinical care of children with general neurological disorders including epilepsy in outpatient/inpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities:

-Outpatient child neurology clinics

-Inpatient service

-Weekend call coverage

-Regional/satellite outpatient clinics

-Mentorship & education of residents/fellows

Onsite this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora CO.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Instructor of Clinical Practice:

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification required

Prescriptive Authority or ability to obtain before start date Conditions of Employment (Consider any additional background checks (sex-offender; MVR) or flexible work shifts)

Condition of Employment:

Must successfully pass a drug test through Childrens Hospital Colorado

Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Additional training and expertise in Pediatric neurology

Strong communication skills.

Broad knowledge and clinical skills in general pediatric neurology

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

Instructor: $108000 to $130000

The above hiring range represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
