Job Description
As Senior / Category Manager Mechanical Build to Print at NTS Singapore you are responsible for defining and executing category strategies for mechanical build-to-print components and assemblies. You collaborate closely with engineering quality and manufacturing teams to ensure suppliers meet technical quality and delivery expectations. You drive supplier development cost optimization and risk management initiatives while supporting new product introductions and production this role you act as a strategic partner to both internal stakeholders and external suppliers to achieve long-term business objectives.
Furthermore your key responsibilities are:
Develop and execute category strategies ensuring cost efficiency quality and supply security;
Perform market analysis cost modelling and TCO analysis to drive competitive pricing and savings;
Manage supplier sourcing qualification development and performance (QLTC);
Support NPI and production transfer projects ensuring supplier readiness and delivery performance;
Negotiate contracts long-term agreements and cost reduction roadmaps;
Implement vendor risk framework due diligence and compliance monitoring;
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and strategic suppliers.
Job Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing) or related field;
Minimum 5 years strategic procurement experience in mechatronics or mechanical assemblies;
Ability to read technical drawings GD&T and BOMs;
Strong background in supplier development cost analysis and contract negotiation;
Experience with build-to-print manufacturing processes (machining casting fabrication precision assemblies);
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and vendor risk management;
Strong communication analytical and stakeholder management skills.
