Senior Product Manager: E-commerce User Journey

Vipps MobilePay is part of everyday life in the Nordics with more than 12 million users across the region (4.7 million in Norway alone) relying on us. For most people paying online with Vipps MobilePay is not a feature. Its just how things work.

Delivering that simplicity depends on building a world-class e-commerce user journey. We are now looking for a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of this journey and help raise the bar. This is a senior hands-on role for someone who enjoys responsibility complexity and real impact and who wants to shape how millions of people experience e-commerce every day.

About the role

Our e-commerce product is used by more than 70% of users across the Nordics. It is our largest product area representing more than half of our revenue and growing over 30% year over year. Despite amazing growth in recent years we are confident that this is just the beginning and that our potential is significantly greater.

Competition in this space is increasing with global players like Apple raising expectations. To win our solutions must be the simplest most user-friendly and most trusted choice. Thats how we create stickiness and make consumers choose Vipps MobilePay again and again. This role will be central in meeting the competition and continuing to grow our market share.

In this role you will lead two cross-functional product teams with responsibility for improving the e-commerce user experience both in and beyond our apps. You will own some of the most visible and heavily used user-facing surfaces in our offering where even small improvements can meaningfully impact users merchants and financial results.

Our payment solutions are part of everyday life: from buying a bus ticket with Ruter to purchasing electronics at Elkjøp or furniture at IKEA. You will have clear ownership high expectations and the mandate to improve things that truly matter.

Your base will be our Bjørvika office in Oslo and you should live within commuting distance. We believe the magic happens when we work together in the office so youre expected to be there most days. Occasional travel is part of the role.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Lead two cross-functional product teams driving continuous improvement and measurable business results
  • Own the product strategy for your area and ensure it is clearly connected to Vipps MobilePays overall strategy
  • Drive prioritisation and own the product roadmap and backlog balancing user value business impact and technical considerations
  • Evaluate the commercial impact of proposed solutions and ensure decisions are grounded in outcomes not outputs
  • Act as a clear point of contact for stakeholders while protecting the teams from unnecessary interruptions
  • Contribute actively to raising the bar for product management practices across the PM community in Vipps MobilePay
