Job Summary

Your responsibilities
As Site Manager you will play a key role in the execution phase of advanced drinking water and wastewater treatment projects. Acting as our representative on site you will support the Project Manager by following up technical solutions interfaces and progress and ensuring that installations and commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with design specifications and quality requirements.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams contractors suppliers and public clients contributing to smooth collaboration and well-coordinated project execution. The role combines strong technical insight with hands-on coordination and presence on site ensuring that process and mechanical systems are implemented correctly and safely.

Your main tasks:

  • Follow up technical execution on site on behalf of the project organization
  • Coordinate contractors and suppliers during installation testing and commissioning
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications quality requirements and HSE
  • Monitor progress interfaces and deviations and report to Project Manager
  • Facilitate technical dialogue and collaboration with municipalities and other public clients
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and best practice in project execution

Qualifications :

Who are we looking for
You have a solid technical background and experience from complex projects related to drinking water and wastewater treatment plants. You are accustomed to working with multidisciplinary process and engineering projects and thrive in roles where coordination technical understanding and collaboration are key.

You handle multiple interfaces simultaneously communicate confidently with contractors and public clients and ensure that technical intent is translated into high-quality execution on site.

We imagine that you have:

  • A bachelors or masters degree in engineering (e.g. mechanical or civil engineering)
  • Experience from site coordination technical follow-up or commissioning of process plants
  • Good understanding of quality HSE and interface management
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation drawings and P&IDs
  • Experience from collaborative contract models such as design-build or partnering is an advantage
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in Norwegian and English
