Secondment - Medical Affairs Scientist I&I (m/f/d)

18 month duration

About the role:

• Medical and scientific consulting and exchanging of information with key opinion leaders and health care professionals regarding Pfizers Inflammation & Immunology portfolio across Dermatology Rheumatology and Gastroenterology

• Providing medical and scientific guidance and advice to company-internal cross-functional departments (including pharmacovigilance regulatory marketing and sales HTA/OR market access corporate communications) at a national and international level in line with business requirements

• Efficient establishing of internal/external training material and conducting in-company training to impact basic knowledge on the molecular structure of medicinal products pharmacodynamic profiles chemical properties clearance potential interactions and side effects dosages routes of administration etc.; furthermore conveying clinical data and real-word evidence

• Compliance with in-house SOPs FSA-codex guidelines and local laws

• Product- and indication-specific advanced pharmaceutical trainings and presentations for physicians investigators health personnel pharmacists pharmaceutical staff and others

• Providing medical and scientific advice for preparing and using product specific information material

Clinical studies IIRs grants projects

• Input to in country and above country strategy of clinical plans for assigned products

• Follow up with local investigators co-ordination of contract and medication supply if requested. Support for ethics and CTA applications if appropriate. Budget management and forecasting

• Regular contact with investigators throughout the study reporting on progress

• Support the global development programs and initiatives (i.e. clinical trial development compliance and other cross functional initiatives through collaboration with the Country Clinical operations PGRD Development Operations and CROs as appropriate)

Develops and manages product and project budgets in line with agreed plans. Budget preparation is done in coordination with the I&I MA Lead Germany and other business partners. The value of the budget or assets depends on current TA plan.

About you:

• Completed medical or lifescience university degree ideally with a doctoral qualification

• At least 6 months of relevant Medical Affairs experience in Specialty Care: Immunology & Inflammation (I&I); experience in Medical Dermatology is strongly preferred

• Background in cardiovascular basic research and a strong interest in Rheumatology and Dermatology is preferred

• Solid understanding of the healthcare system at national regional and local levels

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams

• Strong capability to communicate complex scientific and pharmaceutical topics clearly and comprehensibly

• Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills

• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking including strategic problemsolving abilities

• Fluent English (written and spoken)

• Proficiency in standard MS Office applications and digital collaboration tools

• Willingness and ability to travel as needed
