Job Summary
A vacancy has arisen for a WO / MAcr (Any Profession) to serve as SEMSCo at RAF Benson on Full Time Reserve Service (Home Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS) with an initial proposed start date of 20 July 2026 (or later subject to candidate status).
They will be required to:
- Undertake the responsibilities of SEMSCo as detailed in RAF BENSON SEMP ToRs.
- Manage the RAF Benson Error Management System.
- Promote understanding of the AEMS and encourage personnel to report air safety occurrences including errors hazards and near-misses.
- Undertake trend analysis of report data and instigate and manage Occurrence Safety Investigations (OSI).
- Administer arising safety recommendations and conduct peer reviews of OSIs.
- Communicate and promote good practice to develop a consistent application of the RAF AEMS throughout the AoR.
- Have Line Management responsibility for SEMSCo2.
