Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live.

Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of million hours of their time to our organisation.

Responsibilities

As a Volunteer Administrator you will play a key role is supporting the serviceensuring allcommunicationbetween staff service uses and partner agenciesruns smoothly this includes answering calls and directing enquires. You will bea valued member of the administration team supporting them invarious administrativeroles includingbooking appointmentssendingletters and general office dutiessuch as photocopying filingand -the-job training will be provided all you need is an organised approach and a willingness to learn.

Key Activities:

  • Support the team to ensure that telephone calls and visits from service users outside agencies and CGL staff are dealt with promptly and courteously.
  • To ensure that admin record-keeping and communication within the project are maintained.
  • Support the team in managing/booking appointments via the electronic diary system
  • Send outgoing letters to service users and partner agencies
  • Maintain general office administrative duties such as filing photocopying and scanning
  • Maintain accurate records of all contacts on our case management systems

Education Knowledge and Experience:

    • Ability to work with professional boundaries
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • IT literacy and knowledge of Microsoft word/excel
    • Excellent time management skills and an ability to work on own initiative prioritising accordingly.
    • Ability to liaise and work in partnership with a wide range of professionals and agencies.
    • Good organisational skills
    • Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality

We will support you in this volunteering role by ensuring that you receive regular supervision and have someone on site who you can approach for day-to-day advice and return for the time you give you will receive valuable training and gain experience and skills. Youll be making a real difference too.

We are actively recruiting people who can offer us 1 3 days per week to work within our drug & alcohol service; we are specifically looking for people who are keen and enthusiastic and would be able to commit to staying as a volunteer with us for up to one year.
