Job Summary
Coperion GmbH in Weingarten is a key hub for technical solutions in plastics and bulk solids industries specializing in pneumatic conveying rotary valves and plant design. Part of Hillenbrand we are hiring our:
Health and Safety Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Support and advise the Field Service team on health safety and accident prevention.
- Manage the Occupational Safety Management System per ISO 45001 conduct internal audits.
- Perform site inspections analyse accidents deliver safety training. Develop and review risk assessments.
- Manage EPLAS safety software produce reports monitor KPIs.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams.
- Act as process owner for the SGA (MAPS) process.
Requirements:
- Technical qualification or equivalent; safety training (or willing to undertake).
- ISO 45001/19011 auditor certification (or willing to obtain).
- Experience in safety management ideally in chemical or plastics industries.
- Fluent in German and English; proficient in MS Office.
- Good knowledge of German safety and fire regulations.
- Autonomous organized strong communication skills.
- Willing to travel up to 10% mainly within Germany.
