Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and analytically minded Instructional Designer to design develop and evaluate high-quality learning experiences. The Instructional Designer will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) stakeholders and training team to translate learning needs into engaging instructional content across modalities (e.g. e-learning instructor-led blended microlearning).
How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
- Conduct needs assessments gap analyses and audience analyses to inform design decisions
- Define learning objectives performance goals and assessment strategies
- Develop course content modules and learning assets (e.g. slide decks workbooks videos simulations interactive media job aids)
- Collaborate with SMEs to gather validate and refine content
- Select or configure learning technologies (LMS authoring tools authoring systems LCMS)
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs (e.g. via data analytics feedback) and propose improvements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects with changing priorities
- 13 years of experience in at least one of the following areas: Instructional design/e-learning development or Training & development
- Ability to translate complex subject matter into digestible instructional content
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Tech savvy with proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office Products; general software aptitude
Above and Beyond Qualifications:
- Proficiencywith developing e-learning training modules using authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Captivate)
- Basic graphic design or video editing skills
- Experience in designing implementing and managing learning and development systems and programs
- Associate or bachelors degree in Education Instructional Design or equivalent experience
$60000 - $75000 a year
The wage listed here reflects our best faith estimate for this role. We pay competitively and base compensation on a variety of factors including skills experience industry background and the evolving needs of the role.
