Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an Imaging Professional you will be a highly specialized and essential member of our clinical team pivotal in performing advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Every day you will expertly execute diverse specialized imaging procedures assisting physicians meticulously monitoring patients and precisely operating sophisticated equipment for critical real-time guidance and accurate diagnosis.
A steadfast commitment to patient safety advocacy is crucial. Ensuring patient safety is of utmost importance
- Assists technologist in set up of procedure according to standards of care and hospital/departmental protocol.
- Handles laboratory specimens according to hospital protocol maintaining hospital standard of zero tolerance for mishandled specimens.
- Assists the technologist during procedures as requested. Retrieves necessary equipment and supplies. Assists in patient/equipment preparation. Performs follow-up actions as directed.
- Reviews and implements the multi-disciplinary Plan of Care for each patient. Collaborates with technologist in implementation of plan.
- Consistently demonstrates safe skill implementation and completes equipment/procedural change in-services. Performs technical skills at a level consistent with or higher than level achieved during initial competency check-off.
- Documents pertinent patient information on requisition.
Job Requirements
- High School GED General Studies upon hire or
- High School GED General Studies upon hire and
- Three months related experience in hospital or
- equivalent experience inmedical office/clinic
- None upon hire
