Job Summary
Location: Stone Staffordshire (ST15 0HE)
Salary: Up to 56000 per annum 7500 welcome bonus
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (full-time)
Employment Type: Permanent
Service: Childrens Residential Home (4-bed)
Service Users: Children and young people aged 817 with EBD
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Children & Young Persons Workforce (essential) and QCF Level 5 Leadership/Management (or prepared to study)
The Home
This is a 4-bed childrens residential home in Stone Staffordshire (ST15 0HE) supporting young people aged 817 with EBD. The home focuses on providing stability consistency and a warm structured environment where young people can feel safe develop independence and achieve positive outcomes.
Who we are looking for
We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Registered Manager to lead the home and deliver high-quality child-centred care.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading developing and motivating the staff team to deliver consistently strong care
Ensuring full compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations safeguarding requirements and internal policies
Embedding a warm structured and therapeutic environment where young people can thrive
Managing referrals care planning risk management and placement stability
Working collaboratively with local authorities education and partner agencies to secure the best outcomes
Overseeing staffing rotas budgets and resources effectively
Maintaining inspection readiness and driving continuous improvement across the service
Requirements
Significant leadership experience within Ofsted-registered childrens residential care
Strong knowledge of legislation safeguarding practice and regulatory compliance
Level 3 Children & Young Persons Workforce (essential)
QCF Level 5 Leadership/Management (or willingness to work towards this)
Confident leadership communication and organisational skills
Commitment to delivering safe consistent and outcome-focused care
