As a Histotechnologist on assignment youll own a range of critical responsibilities. Youll prepare and process tissue specimens perform embedding microtomy and staining (including routine and special stains) with meticulous attention to quality control and reproducibility. Youll run and troubleshoot histology instruments manage reagent inventories and maintain precise documentation to ensure traceability and compliance with CLIA and CAP standards. Youll participate in quality assurance reviews assist with the validation of new protocols and collaborate closely with pathologists to optimize diagnostic yield.
