Role Overview
As the Digital Trading Lead for Flipkart and Myntra at Mindshare Fulcrum you will lead the e-commerce media buying strategy and execution for Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL). This is a partner-level role requiring a seasoned professional with deep expertise in marketplace media buying performance marketing and e-commerce strategy. You will be responsible for driving down CPMs optimizing CPVs and ensuring seamless collaboration between internal teams and external stakeholders.
This role demands a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to managing campaigns negotiating with platforms and delivering measurable results in a fast-paced high-stakes environment.
Scope of Work
- Strategy Development & Execution
- Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce media buying strategy for Flipkart and Myntra aligned with HULs business objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities within the e-commerce ecosystem and create tailored strategies to maximize visibility and efficiency.
- Marketplace Media Buying
- Lead the negotiation of paid media campaigns on Flipkart and Myntra leveraging platform-specific ad tools.
- Optimize ad placements pricing by placement and targeting to achieve improved efficiency
- Stay updated on platform updates new ad formats and marketplace trends to identify innovative opportunities.
- Event negotiation & creation
- Negotiate for FK and Myntra calendarized events for maximizing SOV for our key brands
- Create events specifically for HUL brands to improve overall efficiency on FK and Myntra
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as the primary point of contact for HULs e-commerce team ensuring alignment on goals strategies and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with internal teams including creative planning analytics and account management to deliver cohesive and impactful partnership.
- Build strong relationships with Flipkart and Myntra account managers to secure favourable terms and access to beta opportunities.
- Industry Leadership
- Stay ahead of industry trends emerging technologies and marketplace innovations to position HUL as a leader in e-commerce media.
- Represent Mindshare Fulcrum in industry forums sharing best practices and thought leadership in e-commerce media buying.
Experience Requirements
- 10-12 years of experience in e-commerce media buying performance marketing or digital advertising.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale campaigns on Flipkart Myntra or similar marketplaces.
- Experience working with FMCG brands or in a high-performance agency environment is a plus.

- Drive down CPMs across campaigns while maintaining or improving reach and engagement.

- Impressions & Clicks: Deliver consistent growth in impressions and clicks across Flipkart and Myntra campaigns.
- Conversion Rates: Improve conversion rates by optimizing targeting creative and bidding strategies.
- Viewability: Ensure high viewability rates for ads meeting or exceeding platform standards.
- Event negotiation & creation
- Cost Efficiency: Reduce cost of high valued events while maintaining / growing salience dominance
- Stakeholder Satisfaction
- Client Alignment: Maintain alignment with HULs e-commerce team on goals strategies and performance metrics.
- Internal Collaboration: Ensure seamless collaboration with internal teams (creative planning analytics etc.) to deliver cohesive campaigns.
- Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with Flipkart and Myntra account managers securing favourable terms and beta opportunities.
- Innovation & Industry Leadership
- Platform Innovations: Leverage new ad formats tools and marketplace updates to stay ahead of the competition.
- Thought Leadership: Represent Mindshare Fulcrum in industry forums and share best practices to position HUL as a leader in e-commerce media.

- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with marketplace ad platforms (e.g. Flipkart Ads Myntra Ads) DSPs and Google Ads.

- Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including creative analytics and sales.
