The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Manager (Level L) - Rate Forecasting for Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) and Core Operations based out of Renton Washington.
In this role you will lead two high-performing teams of rates analysts: one responsible for BCA rate development and management and the other responsible for Core Operations across the Rates organization. The role centers on people leadership partnering with senior leaders and driving consistent scalable processes across the organization. You will develop analyses present recommendations and influence decision making in partnership with Controllers Senior Vice Presidents and other executive stakeholders. The role also focuses on strategic alignment with Finance Shared Services (FSS) Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Accounting and other related groups.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead mentor and grow the BCA and Core Operations teams of rates analysts by setting priorities performance expectations and development plans
Act as the principal point of contact between BCA Rates and executive leadership; present key findings forecasts and recommended actions to key decision makers
Build and maintain strong relationships across multiple organizations including Controllership Finance Shared Services (FSS) Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Accounting and other stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and timely decision making
Drive standardization and continuous improvement of core rate processes and operations to increase efficiency accuracy and transparency
Establish governance controls and communication cadences across the Rates organization to ensure consistent execution and effective risk management
Innovate and identify new approaches to reporting and analytics that improve the quality clarity and utility of our products for key stakeholders
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree Finance Accounting business or a related field
5 years of experience in building and presenting plans or recommendations to executive leadership
5 years of experience communicating collaborating and building consensus with internal and external stakeholders
5 years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5 years of experience effectively communicating and conveying complex financial information to all levels of staff management and internal/external customers
Experience in a role that required you to make calculated risks in a dynamic & fast-paced environment
