Your day as An Outdoor Seasonal Head Guard

As the Seasonal Outdoor Head Guard Coordinator at SwimRVA youll play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable aquatic experience for all. Your responsibilities will include enforcing safety rules with an eagle eye facilitating engaging lifeguard in-services and conducting thorough daily safety checks. Youll also have the opportunity to assist in the supervision coaching and training of our dedicated professional rescuer team ensuring everyone is prepared for action. Stewarding group and program usage of our pristine pool space will be part of your daily routine as will conducting operational checks and monitoring essential systems.

Would you be a great Outdoor Seasonal Head Guard

To excel as a Seasonal Outdoor Head Guard at SwimRVA youll need a blend of leadership and technical skills. A certification in American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED and Emergency Oxygen is a must as it ensures youre prepared for any situation that arises in the pool. While having a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor (LGI) or SwimRVA Lifeguard Instructor-Helper (LGI-H) certification is preferred it will significantly boost your coaching abilities.

Additionally being a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) is a valuable asset showcasing your knowledge in maintaining safe water conditions and managing pool systems efficiently. Attention to detail strong communication skills and a passion for safety will be vital as you guide your team and create an exceptional experience for all users of our aquatic facility. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
