Job Summary
The Village of Ridgeview Court has an exciting opportunity for a Volunteer and Student Coordinator join their team.
Status: Permanent Full-Time

As our new Volunteer and Student Coordinator you will:
- Hold post-secondary education in a human services related field (Social Services Recreation Volunteer Services Gerontology etc.)
- Possess the ability to understand accept and relate to people regardless of physical psychological or emotional conditions.
- Hold current Heart Save level of CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain).
- Experience with volunteers and/or student placements preferably in a health care or social services setting
- Provides leadership for volunteer and student programs including recruitment orientation (warm welcome) engagement supervision ongoing education
evaluation and recognition activities - Act as a liaison (where applicable) between the Village leadership and postsecondary partners for the Living Classroom to ensure successful integration
into Village life in partnership with the People Team at Support Office. - Exhibit an enthusiasm for developing close ties between the community and the home.
- Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of service to our residents visitors and team members through comprehensive and effective support
