The Events Teamconsistsoffivefull-timeemployeesandtwostudentassistantsand is part of the GlobalPartnershipsand Events department.
As a Student Assistant in the Events Team you will support the preparation and execution of events conferences and lectures and play an active role in their practical delivery.
This includes:
- Assistingwith the planning and execution of a wide range of events and initiatives (conferences lectures etc.) in close collaboration with team members
- Supporting with eventlogisticsbefore during and after events such as
- Preparing materials nametags ordering catering transport etc.
- Welcoming participants and supporting the practical execution of events including signage and set-up
- Following up with participants andassistingwith reimbursement of cost
- Communicating with speakers and participants and supporting travel arrangements
- Creating content for our website () and event platforms such as Conference Manager SurveyMonkey and MailChimp
- Handling ad hoc tasks asrequired
Working hours areapproximately 1020 hours per week with flexibility to accommodate your studies. The role also requires flexibility andadditionalhours during events some of which may run over several days.
RequirementsWearelookingforsomeonewhois:
- Intheirsecondorthirdyearof abachelorsdegreeincommunications event management oroneof theFoundationsscientificfocusareas( ornaturalsciences)
- Highlyproficientin English (writtenandspoken); Danish is anadvantagebut notrequired
- A super user of the MS Office suiteespeciallyOutlook Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Interestinworkingin ascientificenvironmentisanadvantage
- Experiencedinplanningandexecutingeventsisanadvantage
