Summary: Seeking an adult to run alongside a student duringTrack practices and events to provide support. Must be able to keep pace and ensure the students safety.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and accompany a student with an intellectual disability during allTrack practices including runs in the community.
- Ensure the students physical safety by monitoring surroundings maintaining close proximity and following established safety protocols.
- Provide verbal prompts encouragement and assistance to help the student follow the coachs directions and stay on course.
- Communicate any concerns or incidents promptly to the coach or designated school staff.
- Support positive social interaction and inclusion with teammates while respecting the students individual needs and abilities.
