Job Title: Student Account Support Specialist
Reporting Relationship: Executive Director of Student Account Services
Unit: National & Global
Department: APS Accounting Services
Campus Location:Marion National & Global Building
Summary of Position: The support specialist supports the operational needs of the office by providing exceptional service to students team members and other offices with a positive and encouraging attitude.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond to a high volume of student contacts to the Student Account Services department. This includes email voicemail and phone
- Provide timely and helpful responses to inquiries received regarding 1098-Ts including the 1098-T email address
- Receipt payments received by phone mail or online payment systems
- Ensure that all Student Account Services documents are scanned and linked to the appropriate student record
- Provide itemized receipts to students for individual courses upon request
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement. |
Education - Associates degree required or work equivalent
Experience - Bookkeeping experience preferred
Required Skills - Ability to work accurately with attention to detail and numbers
- Analytical thinking skills
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills
