The Clinical Trials Centre (HKU-CTC) established under The University of Hong Kong LKS Faculty of Medicine (HKUMed) is a leading organization dedicated to managing and supporting international-standard clinical trials for new drugs medical devices and medical technologies. HKU-CTC provides long-term career development for motivated professionals committed to advancing clinical research. We are seeking a high-calibre candidate to join our IT Team.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead the process of gathering analyzing and documenting business requirements for new projects and initiatives;
• Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and solution providers presenting findings and complex logic in a clear constructive manner to ensure solutions meet organizational objectives;
• Design effective solutions based on business needs and translate requirements into clear functional specifications;
• Oversee project timelines from initial planning through design development testing and deployment;
• Work closely with external partners to ensure the delivery of reliable and high-performing software solutions; and
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Computer Science Information Technology or related disciplines;
• Minimum of 2 years experience in business requirements analysis process documentation and reporting;
• Demonstrated ability to write requirement specifications process workflows and user stories;
• Strong analytical mindset coordination and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a concise way;
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new domains and technologies relevant to clinical research;
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Cantonese (proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage);
• Familiarity with software development processes and project lifecycles is beneficial; and
• Experience in healthcare or regulated industries is a plus.

The appointment will be made on a 6-month contract to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
