VP Financial Planning & Analysis (This hybrid role requires 3 days/week in our DC office)
The Vice President Financial Planning & Analysis will play a critical leadership rolein shaping CAVAs financial strategy as the company continues to scalenationally. This leader will serve as a strategic thought partner for theexecutive leadership team driving enterprise-wide planning forecasting andperformance management. The role partners closely with leadership to providestrategic insight enable data-driven decision making and ensure financialdiscipline aligned with CAVAs long-term goals while helping to make CAVAs missionto bring heart health and humanity to food into a reality.

WhatYoull Do:
- Manage and develop a high-performing FP&Ateam providing coaching guidance and professional development
- Lead the annual budget and periodic forecast processes
- Partner with the strategy leader and CorporateDevelopment to create the long-range plan and translate company strategy intofinancial plans KPIs and measurable outcomes
- Develop scenario modeling and sensitivityanalysis to support strategic initiatives investments and capital allocationdecisions
- Deliver timely and insightful financialreporting and variance analysis highlighting trends risks and opportunitiesto the executive team and Board of Directors
- Build and maintain financial models that supportscenario planning capital allocation and investment decisions.
- Serve as a trusted thought partner to businessunit leaders by delivering data-driven insights and recommendations to improveperformance.
- Support the preparation of executive-levelpresentations and reporting including Board and ELT materials.
- Lead efforts and leverage AI to establishbest-in-class FP&A processes tools reporting and systems to supportscale and efficiency.
- Influence decision-making through financialinsights rather than control.
- Ensure financial data integrity and strongcoordination with the data and accounting team.
- Evaluate performance KPIs and partner with teamsto drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Actively participate in the FinanceTransformation initiative to strengthen the entire organization.
- Foster a culture of curiosity ownership andcollaboration within the FP&A team and across the organization.
- Embody and promote CAVAs mission and valuesthrough leadership transparency and partnership.
The Qualifications:
Education& Experience- 15 years of experience in financial planning& analysis corporate finance or related roles including prior experiencemanaging teams.
- Strong financial and business acumen withexperience supporting both G&A functions and operating business units(ideally including manufacturing and/or multi-unit retail or restaurants).
- Proven ability to lead budgeting forecastingand strategic planning processes at scale.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;comfortable working with large data sets and drawing strategic insights.
- Executive presence and the ability tocommunicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-financeaudiences.
- Proven capability in providing feedback andsupport to senior leaders across organizations.
- Experience building and mentoringhigh-performing FP&A teams in a fast-paced growth oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial planningtools; experience with BI/reporting platforms and ERP systems is a plus.
- Bachelors degree in Finance AccountingEconomics or a related field required; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Passion for CAVAs mission and a strongcommitment to enabling impact through data and insights
Physical Requirements:
- Ability tomaintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other officeequipment
- Must be able toidentify analyze and assess details
- For certainpositions must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
- Ability tocommunicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
- Constantlypositions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food productionsupport or office operations as applicable
