Job Summary
ECS is looking for an Assistant Electrical Project Engineer to work with the rest of the design team to support in the design of electrical power lighting data and technology systems with a focus on Educational and Government entities. This individual shall provide engineering support for energy conservation strategies and MEP construction projects working alongside an experienced Electrical Engineer. This position assists the team in solidifying complete solutions and provides clarity through design.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist/Perform electrical load calculations on buildings for analysis.
- Assist/Perform building audits and analysis of existing systems.
- Assist/Perform field investigation for systems layout drawings and new routing.
- Assist in the design of building Electrical systems.
- Generate plans and perform drafting utilizing AutoCAD.
- Assist/Perform lighting design layouts.
- Develop and generate Details & Schedules.
- Review submittals
- Become and remain familiar with Codes and Standards.
- Involvement with Public/industry groups is supported.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
Proficient use of AutoCAD Word Excel.
Experience with design software a plus.
This person should be self-motivated innovative competent responsible proficient and organized.
This person should be personable and must work well in a team environment.
Have or be working towards a degree in Electrical Engineering Electrical Engineering Technology or similar Engineering Technology program.
Professional Licensing or Certifications strongly encouraged but not required.
Intrastate travel required. Active driver license status a must.
- Regular and reliable attendance including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.
