Job Summary
3 months contract with local authority
The Placement Service is an integral part of the Safeguarding and Family Support division within Childrens Services. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety and well-being of children by managing and coordinating placement services effectively. The position plays a vital role in supporting families and safeguarding children contributing significantly to the overall mission of Childrens Services.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage placement services within the Safeguarding and Family Support division.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children through effective placement strategies.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to support families and safeguard children.
- Monitor and evaluate placement processes to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to team members within the Placement Service.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role within Childrens Services.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and family support practices.
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
