We are seeking a reliable and proactive Facilities Assistant to join a well-resourced secondary school in Hackney. This is an important role supporting the maintenance and smooth operation of the school site.
The successful candidate will assist with the upkeep of buildings and grounds ensuring that facilities are safe clean and well maintained. You will support the Site Manager and wider team in maintaining a high-quality environment for students and staff.
This role requires practical skills a flexible approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Assist with maintenance and repairs
Support site security and safety
Set up rooms and equipment
Maintain cleanliness and organisation
Assist with health and safety checks
Support the Site Manager
Requirements:
Practical skills and maintenance experience
Knowledge of health and safety (desirable)
Strong organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
