Job Summary

A Store Incharge manages daily warehouse or retail operations including inventory control (receiving storing dispatching) staff supervision and record-keeping. Key responsibilities involve maintaining stock accuracy via ERP systems preparing and conducting audits. They ensure safety compliance and coordinate with procurement to maintain optimal stock levels.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management: Oversee receiving storing and dispatching of goods maintaining accurate records and conducting regular audits to ensure stock accuracy.

Operational Control: Monitor stock levels implement minimum stock requirements and coordinate with procurement/suppliers for timely replenishment.

Supervision & Safety: Lead store personnel provide training and ensure strict compliance with safety security and housekeeping standards.

Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of transactions prepare daily/monthly reports and reconcile stocks often using ERP software.

Key Qualifications and Skills

Experience: Generally requires 1-5 years in inventory management warehousing or retail.

Education: A diploma ITI or bachelors degree in business or related fields is often required.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and ERP systems (e.g. SAP Tally).

Soft Skills: Strong organizational leadership and communication skills.
