Job Title: IT Support Engineer Intern
Location: Bangalore (Onsite Brookfield)
Duration: 6 Months Internship
Stipend: 15000 per month
Working Days: Monday to Saturday (Alternate Saturdays Off)
Working Hours: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
About the Internship
We are looking for a technically strong detail-oriented and highly motivated IT Support Engineer Intern who possesses good foundational knowledge in IT Infrastructure Server Management Networking Cloud Technologies and System Security.
The selected candidate will work closely with the IT team to support daily infrastructure operations assist in cloud architecture implementation manage system configurations and contribute to maintaining secure and stable IT environments.
This internship provides real-time enterprise-level exposure to infrastructure and cloud management practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Infrastructure Management
Assist in managing and maintaining IT infrastructure including physical and virtual servers
Monitor and maintain desktops laptops and peripheral devices
Support installation configuration and troubleshooting of hardware and software
Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
2. Server Administration
Configure and manage Windows Server and Linux environments
Assist in user account management access control and permission handling
Support system updates patches and backups
Monitor server performance and uptime
3. Networking Support
Support configuration and troubleshooting of network devices (routers switches firewalls)
Monitor LAN/WAN connectivity
Handle DNS DHCP IP addressing and basic routing tasks
Assist in resolving connectivity and network-related issues
4. Cloud and amp; Container Technologies
Assist in cloud infrastructure deployment and basic architecture planning
Work with cloud control panels and dashboard management
Support user access control and resource allocation
Assist in Docker installation container deployment and management
Monitor cloud-hosted applications and services
5. Monitoring and amp; Performance Management
Use monitoring tools to track system health and performance
Identify potential performance issues and escalate when required
Generate reports for system status and uptime
6. Security Implementation
Implement basic IT security measures
Configure antivirus firewall settings and access policies
Assist in patch management and vulnerability mitigation
Ensure compliance with internal IT security guidelines
7. Documentation and amp; Compliance
Maintain detailed documentation for configurations incidents and resolutions
Follow IT policies and standard operating procedures
Assist during IT audits if required
Required Technical Knowledge (Must Have Good Knowledge Of)
Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure Management
Good knowledge of Windows and Linux Administration
Understanding of Networking Fundamentals (TCP/IP DNS DHCP Routing and amp; Switching)
Basic knowledge of Active Directory and user management
Familiarity with Cloud Platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP basic level)
Good understanding of Docker and containerization concepts
Basic knowledge of Cloud Architecture fundamentals
Understanding of system monitoring tools
Awareness of cybersecurity best practices
Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues
Educational Qualification
/ B.E / BCA / MCA / Diploma in Computer Science / IT or related field
Final-year students or recent graduates preferred
Preferred Skills
Basic scripting knowledge (Shell / PowerShell)
Exposure to virtualization concepts
Certification in AWS / Azure / Linux / Networking (optional but advantageous)
