Key Responsibilities

The Manager eLearningDevelopmentwill lead the design development and implementation of online training programs and digital learning solutions. This role will manage a team of eLearning developers responsible for delivering high-quality engaging and effective eLearning experiencesforTekionproducts.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in theeLearning development space strong leadership capabilitiesanda passion fordeliveringbest in classeLearning experiences.

• Team Management:Leadand manage a team of eLearning developers fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Project Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of eLearning projects from needs analysis design developmentto deployment and evaluation.Track progress using tools such as Jira Confluence or similar project managementtools.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal/externalstakeholders to assess training needs define learningobjectives and ensure solutions align withproduct/organizational strategy.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all eLearning content meetsdevelopmentbest practices accessibility standards and brand guidelines.Establish and enforce development standards and scalabledevelopmentprocesses.
• Technology Oversight: Evaluate and implementappropriate learningtechnologies such as authoring tools and multimedia platforms.
• AIEnthusiast:Deep knowledgeof how AI functions including its strengths limitations and effective use of various AI tools and platforms (such as text and image generation video creation eLearningmaintenanceand AI integrated authoring toolsetc).Experiencewith prompt engineering for AI toolsand building AI agents.
• Reporting & Analysis: Track and report on key metricsand KPIs.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Instructional Design Educational Technology Computer Science or related fields.
• 15years of experiencein eLearning developmentwith at least7-8years managingmedium to largeeLearning development teams.
• Proven experience in managing complex eLearning projects.
• Expertisein authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline Adobe Captivate or similar platforms.
• Strong experience in developing SCORM/xAPI-compliant eLearning solutions.
• Knowledge of gamification virtual reality (VR) augmented reality (AR) or other emerging eLearning technologies.
• Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0) and designing for diverse learners.
• Proficient in HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript for eLearning customization and development.
• Strong understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle Blackboard or similar platforms.
• Excellent knowledge of instructional design methodologies (ADDIE SAM) and adult learning principles.
• Excellent leadership communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Superior project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
